Our Mission
Mid-State Education District is the central intake point for all Early Childhood referrals for all schools in Morrison County, working to coordinate and deliver special educaton and related services to children and youth (ages birth to 21 years) including referral, identification, consultation, direct service, and transition planning. We receive referrals from a number of sources including doctors, public health, day care providers, teachers and parents.
As part of our agreement with participating school districts, Mid-State also provides various IT services, including internet access, email, locally hosted video streaming curriculum content, interactive television courses, and general network support through our technology department.
